Imelda Wallace, Advanced Practice Provider, is a bilingual family nurse practitioner specializing in urology, with more than 18 years of healthcare experience. Her diverse clinical background has shaped a comprehensive approach to patient care centered on compassion, education, and individualized treatment.

Since 2023, Imelda has practiced in urology, evaluating and managing a wide range of adult urologic conditions, including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary retention, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, hematuria, elevated PSA and prostate health concerns, kidney and bladder stones, nocturia, and catheter and suprapubic tube management. She works closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan based on their medical needs, lifestyle, and individual goals.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Imelda gained extensive nursing experience in hospice, vascular care, neonatal intensive care, clinical coordination, and nursing education. These experiences strengthened her ability to care for patients with complex medical needs while reinforcing the importance of treating the whole person—not just the condition.

Imelda is passionate about patient education and believes every patient deserves to be heard, respected, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions. She takes the time to listen to her patients, explain diagnoses and treatment options in clear and understandable terms, and work collaboratively with them to determine the best course of care. Her goal is for every patient to feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from Chamberlain University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Imelda can communicate effectively with and provide care to a diverse patient population.

Above all, Imelda strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based urologic care while building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve the best possible quality of life.

Outside of her professional life, Imelda enjoys spending time with her three children and being involved in their activities. She especially enjoys supporting her son at his athletic events and cheering him on from the sidelines. Imelda also stays active by working out and mountain biking. When she is not busy with work or her children’s activities, she values spending quality time with family and friends. These moments allow her to recharge, remain active, and connect with the people who matter most to her.
