Jessica has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Rio Grande Urology since 2022. In her role, she evaluates and treats a wide range of urological conditions, including benign prostatic hyperplasia, chronic cystitis, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, urethral stricture, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and other urologic concerns. She also provides specialized care in men’s health, addressing concerns related to male wellness, sexual health, and other conditions affecting men’s urologic health. In addition, she provides care for patients receiving androgen deprivation therapy, helping monitor treatment, manage potential side effects, and support patients throughout their cancer care journey. She works closely with urologists and the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans and believes strongly in educating patients so they can feel informed and confident in decisions about their health.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Jessica gained extensive nursing experience in a variety of settings, including medical/surgical nursing, longterm care, hospice, public health, and maternal and child health. Her diverse background has helped shape her holistic approach to patient care and strengthened her ability to connect with patients and families throughout different stages of life. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Jessica is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has also been recognized as a recipient of the New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence Nightingale Scholarship in both 2020 and 2021.

Outside of her professional life, Jessica is a proud mother of three girls, who are at the heart of her world.  She enjoys staying active through running and Pilates, spending quality time with her family, and enjoying a round of golf whenever she gets the opportunity. Her dedication to family, wellness, and lifelong learning carries over into the care she provides to every patient.
