Silas Luna is a Physician Assistant with Rio Grande Urology, where he has had the privilege of working alongside Drs. Bagg and Taber for the past seven years. Throughout his time in urology, he has developed a strong passion for helping patients address sensitive and often life-impacting conditions with compassionate, individualized care.

His clinical interests include erectile dysfunction (ED), overactive bladder, bladder control disorders, kidney stones, and prostate cancer. He takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and understand how their symptoms are affecting their daily lives. His goal is to provide clear explanations, discuss appropriate treatment options, and work together with each patient to develop a plan that supports their health and quality of life.

Silas earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso. Before specializing in urology, he practiced as a Physician Assistant in Family Practice in Houston, Texas. This broad clinical experience gave him a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care and continues to influence the way he approaches each patient as a whole person.

As a bilingual provider, Silas is proud to care for patients in both English and Spanish. He believes that effective communication is at the heart of excellent medical care. Whether discussing a diagnosis, answering questions, or explaining treatment options, he strives to ensure his patients feel comfortable, respected, and fully informed.
